Learning outcomes
PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, and logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication.
PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic and literary facts; interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres.
PLO 14. Create, analyze, and edit texts of different styles and genres.
PLO 21. Conduct scientific analysis of Vietnamese language units and literary works at the professional level and apply knowledge of the hieroglyphic writing of the Vietnamese language.
PLO 22. To speak a second oriental language (Chinese) at the level of professional and everyday communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the Chinese course: Speaking and Writing;
2. Knowledge of the theoretical and practical foundations of the course Chinese: Speaking and Writing;
3. Mastery of lexical and grammatical models and structures; mastery of vocabulary that meets the requirements of "Chinese: Oral and Written Communication."
4. Ability to use the Chinese language fluently, flexibly, and effectively in oral and written form, in different stylistic varieties and registers of communication (formal, informal, and neutral), to solve communicative tasks in different spheres of life, and at a basic level of language and speech training.
Course content
This discipline includes practical tasks that will help students understand dialogic and monologic speech, read and understand Chinese written language, develop written character skills, conduct a conversation on everyday and general topics, and perform interpretation and translation.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training-learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1), which is 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training-learning outcomes (skills 2.1–2.4); communication (3.1–3.2); autonomy and responsibility (4.1), which is 60% of the total grade.
