PLO 1. Evaluate your own educational, scientific, and professional activities; build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 2. Confidently speak the state, Vietnamese, and French languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in the state and foreign languages. PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, and logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 14. Create, analyze, and edit texts of different styles and genres. PLO 19. Translate and interpret from Vietnamese and French and vice versa using effective strategies and methods of multigenre and multidisciplinary translation.

Distance form

successful completion of practical and theoretical French language courses taught during four semesters of study, and the ability to perform lexical and grammatical analysis of French texts.

The course "Communication Strategies and Translation" is a compulsory multi-semester course for students majoring in Oriental Languages and Literatures (translation included), the first one being Vietnamese. In the 2nd semester, the discipline is taught in the amount of 4 credits, or 120 hours in total, including 40 hours of practical classes and 80 hours of independent work. The form of control is an exam.
