Learning outcomes
PRS 2. Confidently possess state and foreign languages ​​for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. PRS 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PRS14. Create, analyze and edit texts of various styles and genres. PRS 19. Formulate statements in Korean and English, correctly using linguistic and stylistic means appropriate to the speech situation and professional field.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
General knowledge of the English language at the level of B2. Successful mastering of English and general linguistic disciplines according to the curriculum of the specialty.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to generalize students' knowledge of the specifics of various types of texts inherent in English-language academic discourse, as well as the ability to correctly understand and translate such texts from English to Ukrainian and from Ukrainian to English. The discipline provides a broad theoretical vision of modern academic texts as part of a general discourse, which has a specific structure peculiar to English linguistic culture.
