Course content
Translation internship aims to provide students with practical experience in the field of their educational program profile, within institutions, organizations, and companies that provide or require translation services or other professional services related to the translation industry (potential employers).
The internship (working languages: German, Ukrainian) takes place separately from theoretical studies and lasts for six weeks. It concludes with a differential pass/fail assessment, preceded by a presentation showcasing the acquired experience. Students undergo internships in institutions, organizations, and companies that require translation services and engage in related professional activities. The internship placements are based on active agreements between the institute and the respective institutions. The Institute's German Language and Culture Center may also serve as a placement option if translation projects are available. Students may also choose other internship placements (in such cases, the respective institution or organization must contact the institute in advance to request the student's placement).
