Learning outcomes
PRL 2. Confidently possess state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. Apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information technology, for successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of research in the field of Japanese philology. PRL 11. Carry out a scientific analysis of language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PRL 18. Present the results of your research to the scientific community in scientific publications or speeches at conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.

Course content
1. Discipline VB 1.06 "Academic Japanese language: various aspects of learning" is part of Elective block 1 "Academic Japanese language and translation" for students studying in the specialty 035 "Philology" (035.069 "Oriental languages and literatures (including translation), the first - Japanese"), taught in the third semester and consists of 5 credits, 150 hours (50 practical and 100 hours of independent work). The final control form is an exam. The course is designed to provide the student with the skills and abilities necessary for successful research, understanding and production of texts of various genres of Japanese-language academic discourse. The discipline is part of the scientific research component of the educational program, which is presented in the orientation of practical classes and independent work on scientific research in the field of academic communication and the reflection of this research in the genres of scientific discourse.

Assessment methods and criteria
Throughout the semester, practical classes are held, at which evaluation is carried out according to the types of work and the form of the counter. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points are not allowed to take the exam. For students who during the semester did not reach the minimum cut-off grade level (36 points), a final semester test is conducted. The maximum grade for additional assessment forms cannot exceed 40% of the maximum total points for the semester - 24 points. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student during the semester and the points received on the exam, the maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam.
