Learning outcomes
PRL 2. Confidently possess state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. PRL 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PRL 7. Analyze, compare and classify different directions and schools in linguistics. PRL 11. Carry out a scientific analysis of language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PRL 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of various styles and genres

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) fluency in the state and Japanese languages; 2) knowledge of the theoretical foundations of academic discourse; 3) successful mastering of the disciplines "Japanese for professional communication", "Communicative strategies and translation", "Business speech", etc.
Course content
1. Subject FC 1.04 "Japanese-language academic discourse" is part of Elective block 1 "Academic Japanese language and translation" for students studying in specialty 035 "Philology" (035.069 "Oriental languages and literatures (including translation), the first is Japanese") , is taught in the third semester and consists of 3 credits, 90 hours (30 practical and 60 hours of independent work). The form of final control is credit. The course is designed to provide the student with the skills and abilities necessary for successful scientific activity, understanding and production of texts of various genres of Japanese-language academic discourse
