Work as a translator from a foreign language: each intern student must translate texts from a foreign language for 3 weeks in the amount of at least 15 pages, in particular, it is stipulated that written translation from a foreign language into one's native language and from one's native language into a foreign language is carried out by economic, scientific-technical, socio-political texts (1 page A4 = 1800 printed characters, 14 points, 1.5 spacing, 2.0 cm margins). Students write a comment on the entire translation, give the most interesting examples of lexical, grammatical and stylistic techniques (transliteration, transcription, addition, transposition, etc.), also note the main translation difficulties (indicate what they are caused by: terminology, proper names, background information, etc.). Translation into Ukrainian is planned, however, in the case of translation into English, the number of pages may be reduced to 10.
