Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confidently know the state and foreign languages for the realization of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of research in the state and foreign languages. PLO 3. Apply modern methodologies and technologies, including information technologies, for successful and effective professional activity and quality assurance of research in a specific philological field. PLO 4. Assess and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and provide ways to solve them in complicated and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in a professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PLO 23. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Interdisciplinary connections: Foreign language (Korean/Japanese); pedagogy of higher education and pedagogical skills of a teacher; methods of Oriental languages teaching in higher educational institutions. Students must be proficient in the language at a level not lower than B2, as well as know the theory of teaching methods, be able to practically apply modern methods of pedagogy, have basic skills in applying theoretical knowledge of teaching methods.
Course content
Production (assistant) practice with separation (Oriental languages) is an integral part of the educational process of students of the Institute of philology and is mandatory among other disciplines in the structural and logical scheme of the educational and professional training program of the Institute of philology. The offered program contains recommendations and methodological materials for the organization and conduct of the assistant practice of the first-year master's students of the Department of languages and literatures of the Far East and Southeast Asia of the Institute of lhilology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Pedagogical tasks are aimed at forming students' practical skills and abilities to organize the educational process, as well as to consolidate the ability to analyze the results obtained with the subsequent possibility of their correction. Form of practical training – full-time / on-line.

Presentations, evaluation of reporting documentation and conducted practical classes.
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Knowledge of programs, content, textbooks in the specialty and methods of teaching special subjects in higher education institutions. 2. Scientific and methodological level of conducting educational and extracurricular work on the subject. 3. Scientific, methodological, research and creative work: a) participation in meetings of teachers of the section, conferences, seminars, etc; b) systematic analysis of their practical activities and experience of educational and methodological work of the department; c) preparation of materials on the results of assistant practice. The final grade for the assistant practice is announced to the student during the defense of the practice at the department. According to the results of the assistant practice, the student is given a differentiated credit with grades "excellent", "good", "satisfactory", "unsatisfactory". The results of the test are entered in the examination sheet and exhibited in the record books.
