PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 13. It is accessible and reasoned to explain the essence of specific philological issues, one's own point of view on them and its justification both to specialists and to the general public, in particular to students. PLO 19. Develop educational and methodological materials, conduct lectures and practical classes in higher education based on knowledge of the methodology of teaching Eastern languages.

Successful mastery of the disciplines "Oriental language (higher level)", "Methodology of teaching an Oriental language in a general education specialized school of the III degree"; • knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the methodology of teaching Eastern languages ​​in higher education and related pedagogical disciplines; • knowledge of the regularities of the educational process in foreign language classes at higher education institutions.

"Methods of teaching Eastern languages in higher education" is a professional discipline for students studying on specialty 035.069 "Eastern languages and literatures (translation), the first - Japanese", is taught in the 1st semester, volume of discipline - 3 credits, 30 academic hours (14 hours - lectures, 14 hours - seminars, 60 hours - independent work), the form of control - exam. The main purposes of the discipline are to familiarize students with the main components of the theory of modern foreign language teaching and, on this basis, to teach them how to use theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems, to present current trends in foreign language teaching both in our country and abroad; to reveal the essence of the components and tools of modern methodology as a science. Independent work of students includes individual study of special literature.

Oral surveys, written tests and project work

The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a comprehensive exam: • the maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points (positive evaluation), which are added to the semester ones, is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam); • the exam is conducted in the form of a written work, the exam ticket consists of two tasks: 2 theoretical questions, each of which is evaluated with a maximum of 20 points.
