Learning outcomes
PLO 3. Apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information technology, for successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of research in the field of Indonesian philology. PLO 7. Analyze, compare and classify different directions and schools in linguistics. PLO 8. Evaluate historical heritage and the latest achievements of literary studies. PLO 9. Characterize theoretical foundations (concepts). PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic and literary facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres in the field of Indonesian philology. PLO 11. Carry out a scientific analysis of language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PLO 17. Plan, organize, implement and present research and/or innovative developments in the field of Indonesian philology.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) possession of elementary skills of analytical, search and research work; 2) fluency in Indonesian and Ukrainian languages; 3) successful mastering of the disciplines OK.01 "Methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property", OK.06 "Indonesian language for professional communication" and OK.07 "Modern Indonesian literature" according to the ONP "Eastern philology, Western European language and translation: Indonesian language and literature".
Course content
The discipline VB 2.01 "Actual problems of Indonesian philology" from the selective block "Indonesian studies" is taught in the third semester and consists of 3 credits, 90 hours (14 lectures, 16 seminars and 60 hours of independent work). The form of final control is credit. The course is designed to provide students with the skills, abilities and competencies necessary for the future profession of philologist and junior researcher in the field of Indonesian studies. During the classes, the knowledge about phonetic, lexical, grammatical, syntactic and stylistic features of the modern Indonesian language, traditional literary methodology acquired during undergraduate studies is updated, and students are also introduced to modern developments and current problems in the field of Indonesian linguistics and literature, intercultural communication.

Assessment methods and criteria
Blitz survey: 2 points – the student has full knowledge of the educational material, quickly and correctly answers the questions; 1 point – the student does not demonstrate depth of knowledge; 0 points - the student cannot answer the question. 2. Oral answer, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars: 15 points – the student has a complete knowledge of the educational material, teaches it fluently and reasonedly 14-8 points – the student has a sufficient amount of the educational material, teaches it fluently, insignificant inaccuracies are allowed; 7 points - the student generally knows the educational material, but does not demonstrate the depth of knowledge 6-1 points - the student does not fully master the material, has significant errors in the answer 3. Modular control work: Test part - 15 points Open questions - 5 points 4. Final evaluation Final evaluation is conducted in the form of a credit
