Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of various equal. PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the courses "General Psychology", "Pedagogical Psychology", "Age Psychology"; Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of developmental psychology, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation.
Course content
The psychological foundations of the educational process in higher education institutions are revealed. There is a formation of psychological culture, training in the analysis of psychological mechanisms of becoming a professional, features of educational and professional activities in higher education institutions, conscious mastering of professional and pedagogical skills and abilities. The content is revealed in two modules. In the first, the theoretical and methodological foundations of science, its conceptual and categorical apparatus, the peculiarities of the student as a subject of educational and professional activity, adaptation to study at higher education institutions. In the second - psychological aspects of the activity of the teacher of higher educational institutions, psychological foundations of the development of the teacher's professionalism; psychological patterns of pedagogical interaction between a teacher and a student, peculiarities of the development of a student group; the basics of management in the higher education system. An important place in the course is given to the acquisition of practical skills for future teaching activities. The discipline is multi-semester and is taught in the first and second semesters. The course includes 2 content parts according to the number of semesters. Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars. The discipline ends with an exam

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Answer at the seminar lesson. Independent work Modular control work. During the study of the academic discipline "Psychology of the higher school", the following types of independent learning of the student are distinguished: - performance of practical work; - implementation of creative projects; - preparation of essays and individual project works; - preparation for modular control and exam; - work with literature.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, lectures with elements of discussion are held on the relevant topics, and independent work tasks are provided, which are evaluated according to the types of work and the form of the counter. ), which are added to semester grades – 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam)
