Course content
The workshop on Russian literature of the twentieth and early twentieth centuries summarises the results of historical and literary courses and creates the prerequisites for students to pass the final exam in Russian literature. A comprehensive presentation of the literary process is realised through the work with texts representative of the main "great styles", trends and schools (for example, the study of modernism involves the study of texts by the older and younger Symbolists, Acmeists, Expressionists in their complex interaction with late realism and the avant-garde). The works are considered in their historical context and from the point of view of immanent poetics.
