Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of a total of 120 credits of the mandatory components of the Russian Language and Literature (for Foreigners) study programme and elective components of this or other study programmes.
Course content
The exam is aimed at testing in-depth theoretical knowledge of the Russian language and literature, as well as fluency in Russian at the professional level.The exam paper includes two theoretical questions on the following thematic blocks: 1) functional grammar of the Russian language; 2) Russian literature of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries; and one practical task to test fluency in written language - an essay on a value-motivational or socio-cultural issue. Assessment methods and criteria
The exam is conducted in oral and written form. The time to prepare for oral answers to the first and second questions of the test paper is 30 minutes. The time for completing the written task (question three) is one hour. The performance of each type of task in the exam paper is assessed by a clearly defined number of points, which in total amounts to a maximum of 100 points.
