Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confidently speak a foreign language for written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of their research in a foreign language. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organise successful communication. Explain the essence of specific philological issues and one's own point of view on them and its justification to both specialists and the general public, including students, in an accessible and reasoned manner. Create, analyse and edit texts of different styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the course "Practical Russian Language Course. Professional level" (I, II semesters).
Course content
The course examines the main characteristics of the lexical-phraseological and grammatical-stylistic systems of the language; the main means of different styles of Russian speech in order to test and improve the knowledge and skills of masters in the fields of lexis, phraseology, grammar and stylistics of the Russian language.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practical classes, independent work.The leading approaches in the organisation of training sessions are problem-based and activity-communication, aimed at ensuring the automation of skills in all types of speech activity. Methods: theoretical, empirical, analytical (with elements of synthesis), work with a dictionary, textbook and fiction text; technologies: interactive learning, group work (dialogue, polylogue, group discussion, modelling and analysis of a speech situation, business games).
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers in practical classes, current control surveys. Assessment of student knowledge and skills is carried out systematically, in accordance with the thematic plan of practical classes. See the work programme of the discipline for assessment criteria for each type of assignment.
