PLO19. Appreciate the diversity and multiculturalism of the world and be guided in their activities by the modern principles of tolerance, dialogue and cooperation. PLO 4. To evaluate and critically analyse socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions that require the use of new approaches and forecasting. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Proficiency in the Russian language at a level that allows communication in all areas of activity; basic skills in research work.
Course content
The subject of the discipline is intercultural interaction and communicative behaviour of speakers of different languages and cultures (including native and Russian), the peculiarities of which are determined by national and cultural factors. By mastering this discipline, undergraduates develop the ability to interpret the communicative behaviour of native Russian speakers and their own communicative behaviour as native speakers of a particular language and culture; understand the causes of interpersonal conflicts between representatives of different cultures and ways to overcome them, which contributes to their development as secondary language learners. Particular attention is paid to the pedagogical level of intercultural communication.

Lectures, practical classes, independent work. Theoretical methods (explanatory and illustrative, problem-based, partially search), consciously practical (explanation, observation), research methods, including independent search (research) work with educational publications, Internet resources, reference literature; class discussion
Assessment methods and criteria
