ELO 7. Analyse, compare and classify different areas and schools of linguistics. ELO 9. Describe the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of the Russian language. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalisations based on independently processed data. ELO 13. Explain the essence of specific philological issues and one's own point of view on them and its justification to both specialists and the general public, including students, in an accessible and reasoned manner.

Course content
The subject of the course is Russian linguistics in the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. The aim of the discipline is to analyse in detail the absence of a scientific paradigm. The discipline introduces the theory and methodology of modern anthropology, demonstrates the formation and development of new linguistic paradigms of the beginning of our century: anthropocentric, synergistic and cognitive, as well as their integration with classical linguistic paradigms: comparative-historical, systemic-structural and functional-communicative.

Lectures, seminars, individual work. Explanatory and demonstrative method, search, partially search, problem-based presentation, communicative and interactive methods (conversation, discussion).
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answer, participation in discussions, participation in discussions, written homework, ICR, test.For the assessment criteria for each type of assignment, see the work programme of the discipline, for example: Oral answer: 5 points - a complete answer, the student demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the topic, logical construction of the answer, no speech and language errors. 4 marks - the answer is incomplete, generally correct, the student knows the material, but makes linguistic and speech errors that he/she corrects or that do not interfere with the understanding of the statement. 3 marks - the answer is incomplete, the student partially understands and presents the material, makes linguistic and speech errors that interfere with the understanding of the statement.
