Learning outcomes
PLO 6. To use knowledge on expressive, emotive, logical language means and speech techniques in order to achieve an intended pragmatic result and organize a successful communication. PLO 10. To collect and systematize facts of language and literature. PLO 19. To value the diversity and multiculturalism of the world, and to apply modern principles of tolerance, dialogue, and cooperation in their (students) activities. PLO 21. To translate (orally and in writing) texts of different genres and styles from Ukrainian into the native language and vice versa (according to the selective block "Practical translation for those who study Ukrainian as a foreign language").

Successful completion of theoretical and practical courses of the Ukrainian language taught during the first year of master's studies ("Professional and Corporate Ethics", "Practical Course of the Ukrainian Language. Professional level", etc.)
Course content
The discipline develops students' understanding of the characteristic features of Ukrainian speech behavior caused by national and cultural peculiarities, and also helps to improve the skills of creating speech acts of various communicative purposes in Ukrainian and finding translatable equivalents of culturally specific speech material. The program of the discipline envisages mastering the basics of ethnolinguistics and ethnopsycholinguistics, developing skills in analyzing speech material in the ethnopsycholinguistic aspect, the ability to correctly use speech etiquette formulas in specific life situations, comparing Ukrainian national and cultural features reflected in speech behavior with the corresponding features of the speech of the student's native people.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of study: lectures, practical classes, independent work. Teaching methods: explanation of new material, conversation, independent work with scientific literature, collective analysis of speech behavior (based on texts, videos), independent work on analytical research, interactive methods (work in pairs, small groups).
Assessment methods and criteria
