PRN2. Confidently possess the state and foreign (Belarusian, English, Czech/Croatian) languages ​​for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. To apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information, for successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of scientific research in the field of Belarusian and Slavic studies in general. Prerequisites and co-requisites
- successful completion of courses: Lexicology and lexicography of the Belarusian language; Stylistics of the Belarusian language; Functional and communicative aspects of the Belarusian language; Folklore of the southern and eastern Slavs; - knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics, the systematic structure of the lexical composition of Slavic languages; - mastery of semantic analysis techniques; elementary skills of searching, accumulating, analyzing and synthesizing information; - the ability to analyze the vocabulary of a second Slavic (Czech) language from the point of view of the semantics of a lexical unit, sources of its origin, norms of functioning.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the phraseology of the second Slavic (Czech) language, the peculiarities of the implementation of its system and structure in various types and genres of oral and written speech; to form the ability at the appropriate professional level to be fluent in linguistic and figurative means of the Czech language, to use them in communicative, professional translation activities in accordance with the generally accepted rules and norms of the functioning of a foreign language. The subject is the theoretical foundations and communicative possibilities of the phraseology of the second Slavic (Czech) language. The discipline is aimed at mastering the universal and distinctive features of the language picture of the world of the Czech ethnic group by means of phraseology; gives an idea of ​​the semantics of phraseological units in a historical and cultural dimension.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out according to the types of work and forms of control: 1. Oral answer, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars, blitz surveys, tests - 25/45 points. 2. Presentation – 11/15 points. (10 points for preparation + 5 points for defense). The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, blitz surveys, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (presentation preparation). The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored 60 points, the minimum positive number of points, receive "enrolled".
