Full-time form

The program is designed for students who have thoroughly studied the history of foreign literature and have an appropriate level of English. The student must know: the basic literary concepts and terms (Shakespearean questions / canon / code / text / thesaurus) and the content of works that make up the "Shakespearean canon"; modern literary methods and methods of analysis of literary text; principles of semiotics, comparative studies, intertextuality; basics of deconstruction theory, analyze works taking into account their ideological and artistic integrity and the author's position; consciously choose the necessary models and methods of literary research.

The discipline "Methods of Interpreting the Shakespearean Code in Modern Foreign Literature" provides students with professionally oriented competence and involves mastering the techniques of holistic, contextual and comparative analysis of literary phenomena, based on a sufficient level of prior knowledge and skills of basic search and analysis of scientific information; modern literary methods of analysis of literary text and basic concepts of textology.

Maximum number of points - 100; independent work: PLO 1.1–1.3, 2.1–2.3, 3, 4 - 20 points, intermediate control - written tests in four modules: PLO 1.1-1.3, 2.1, 2.3, 4 - 30 points, answer in seminars: PLO 1.1– 4 - 10 points depending on the completeness of the disclosure), final assessment in the form of an exam, final tests: 20 points. Final assessment - an exam, which takes 40 points; the grade for the exam cannot be less than 24 points. A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she scored less than 36 points during the semester. Scale descriptors: Excellent – 90-100; Good – 75-89; Satisfactory – 60-74; Fail – 0-59.
