Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the elements of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline "Fundamentals of Philosophy". Be able to work with sources that set out the basic principles of the discipline "Philosophy of Education", and key domestic and international regulations in the field of education. Have the skills to conduct effective research presented in the process of writing independent works.
Course content
The course is aimed at considering and analyzing the specifics of modern philosophical and methodological concepts of education, the basics of methodology and methods of constructing the educational process; formation of a holistic view of education as a process, as a good, as a service and a commodity, as a value; acquisition of research skills, awareness of the goals of education, the formation of skills for the proper implementation of research projects. Thematic plan: Topic 1. Philosophy of education in the system of philosophical knowledge. Topic 2. Education in the system of human social life. Topic 3. Education: anthropological dimensions. Topic 4. Education: axiological dimensions. Topic 5. Education: legal dimensions. Topic 6. Philosophy of education and psychological and pedagogical sciences. Topic 7. Education as a design for the future.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers to the seminar and performance of independent works (up to 70 points), final test work (up to 30 points). The form of final control is a test, which is set for all forms of work in the semester.
