Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "General Linguistics", "Text Linguistics", "Cognitive Linguistics."
2. The ability to select language material and use linguistic tools to analyze language material.
3. Communication skills on linguistic topics in English.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with a traditional and modern philological problem, namely the interpretation of a poetic work, which involves the creation of a context of scientific historiography of the problem of hermeneutics. The course consists of three parts: "Hermeneutics as a general theory of text interpretation", "Theories of reading" and "Theories of poetics".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The acquisition of basic theoretical knowledge of the discipline consists of listening to lectures with elements of feedback; speeches at seminar classes; abstract presentation and individual tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final control form is an exam
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student during the semester. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work and for independent work. During the semester, a student can get a minimum of 36 points and a maximum of 60 points.
Accordingly, the exam is assigned a minimum of 24 points and a maximum of 40 points.
