Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the discipline requires a level of English language proficiency not lower than B2 on the CEFR scale. In addition, students have: Know the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and main mechanisms of personality formation; Be able to solve practical tasks, apply theoretical knowledge, own experience and educational materials when solving specific qualification tasks in the field of future activity; To have elementary skills of forming the main regulators of activity and behavior in a group.
Course content
The discipline reveals the meaning of the main categories of higher school pedagogy and the teacher's pedagogical skill, the essence of the learning process, highlights the peculiarities of student motivation to study, as well as planning of learning and teaching, conducting classes in large and small groups, considers student evaluation methods; great attention is paid to the analysis of the general characteristics of a teacher of a higher education institution.
