Learning outcomes
PLO 1. To evaluate personal educational and scientific-professional activity, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 4. To assess and critically analyse socially personally and professionally significant issues, and suggest solutions in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 5. To find optimal ways of the effective interaction in a team of professionals and with the representatives of other professional groups on different levels. PLO 6. To apply knowledge about expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve a planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 12. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process, the place of Ethics among the philosophical sciences; ability to collect and interpret information about the phenomena of culture, cultural processes and events, to single out actual socio-cultural problems and justify the principles and ways of solving them; рossession of basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of professional informative sources in foreign languages.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the range of issues of professional and corporate ethics as relevant fields of knowledge and practice, the specifics of methods of ethical and applied research and ethical judgments, and the ability to use them in solving specific analytical and research tasks regarding moral conflicts in modern practices. The course is aimed at forming an educated specialist, ethically competent and morally oriented to conscientious, conscious and ethically balanced performance of professional activity. The subject field of applied, professional and corporate ethics, their place in the structure of ethical knowledge, features of ethical regulation of professional activity, ethical dimensions of professionalism are determined.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures, seminar classes and self-study work of students, which involves preparation for oral responses, participation in discussions during classes and seminars, essay writing.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semestral number of points consists of the points scored in the process of learning during the entire educational course, which includes classroom activity and self-study work (min. 48 / max. 80 points). The final control test is scored min. 12 / max. 20 points. In the credit test, the final number of points credited for the course (min. 60 / max. 100 points) is calculated as the sum of points scored for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final control test’s results. Students who scored totally less than the required minimum of 60 points, should – in order to receive credit – complete missed lessons in written and submit/send it by e-mail to the tutor conducting the seminar classes.
