PLO 4. Tp evaluate and analyse socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions that require new approaches and forecasting. PLO 5. To find optimal ways for effective interaction in the professional community and with representatives of other professional groups at various levels. PLO 15. To choose optimal research approaches and methods of analysis for the specific language and literary material. PLO 16. To use specialized conceptual knowledge in a chosen linguistic field to solve complex tasks and issues, which require updates and integration of knowledge, often under conditions of incomplete or lacking information and contradictory requirements.

Full-time form

Successful completion of practical and theoretical courses in Communicative Practices (Spanish), Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies (Spanish and Ukrainian) within three semesters of study.

To develop students' understanding of the complex of scientific problems related to linguistic competence in matters concerning the sociolinguistic aspects of language and speech as a certain system. To learn to identify sociolinguistic features of texts of different genres; to carry out communicative and pragmatic analysis of the text in the process of its research.

Lectures, practical classes, individual work

During the semester, after lectures on the relevant topics, practical classes are held, where assessment is carried out in accordance with the types of work and the form of control described in clause 7.1 of the RPND. The discipline ends with an exam. The semester final grade is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of performing the specified types and forms of training and obtained at the exam. The maximum distribution is based on the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam. If a student scores less than 24 points in an exam (i.e. 60% of the 40 points allocated for the exam), they are not added to the semester grade regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester, and the exam report in the column "final grade in the discipline" indicates only the number of points obtained during the semester.
