PLO 2. To speak the state and foreign languages confidently for written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in the state and foreign languages. PLO 4. Tp evaluate and analyse socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions that require new approaches and forecasting. PLO 13. Explain the essence of specific philological issues, their own point of view on them and its justification both specialists and public, including students. PLO 17. To plan, organize, perform and present research and / or innovative developments in a specific linguistic field. PLO 18. Present research results to the scientific community in scientific publications or speeches at conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.

Successful completion of general education disciplines (Methodology and Organisation of Scientific Research with the Basics of Intellectual Property; Professional and Corporate Ethics; First Language Literature) and specialised disciplines (Communication Practices (Spanish); Corporate Linguistics and Translation Studies (Spanish and Ukrainian); English Language Theory) taught over two semesters of study.

The aim of the discipline is to acquire professional skills and abilities of students to carry out independent research work. Annotation. "Research practice is conducted separately from theoretical studies in the 3rd semester of the master's programme for 6 weeks in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional programme "Spanish Studies and Translation, English". The subject of the practice is to deepen the skills of independent scientific work, broaden the students' scientific outlook, and the ability to determine the structure and logic of a master's qualification work. The discipline is aimed at consolidating the theoretical knowledge in the field of Spanish linguistics and translation acquired by students during their studies, acquiring and improving practical skills and abilities in the course of professional activity, mastering modern methods and forms of research activity.

Individual consultations, conducting scientific research, writing a scientific article, preparing and defending a practice report.

Based on the results of the research practice, a differentiated test is given. The assessment is based on a written report and diary on the practice and the supervisor's review of the scientific article. The grade is determined taking into account the timeliness of submission of the necessary documents on practice, the quality of the prepared report, the completion of the individual task, the level of knowledge and the level of student's defence on a four-point differential scale and the ECTS scale, which characterises the student's performance.
