Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confident knowledge of state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of research in state and foreign languages. PLO 19.1. Apply effective strategies and methods of translating Chinese-language texts into Ukrainian and vice versa. PLO 20.1. Apply knowledge of the specifics of Chinese linguistic and cognitive discourse in the process of professional communication in a Chinese-speaking environment. PLO 21.1. Use acquired theoretical knowledge and practical Chinese language skills in various scenarios of professional activity (from translation provision of effective communication to managerial activities).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Successful completion of courses: "Speech culture: academic and business discourse (Chinese)", "Communicative strategies of the Chinese language", etc. 2) Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of linguistics and translation studies; 3) Possession of an advanced level of Chinese. 4) The ability to apply the theoretical skills of simultaneous translation in the practical plane, as well as the skills of simultaneous translation of scientific speech.
Course content
The purpose of the educational discipline is to train Chinese orientalists in professional simultaneous translation and translation cursive, to develop professional translation and professionally oriented intercultural communication skills. The educational discipline is a mandatory component of the multi-semester discipline of the selective block "Sectoral translation: Chinese language (Chinese language)" and is taught in the 2nd and 3rd semesters in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional program "East philology, Western European language and translation: Chinese language and literature". Within the framework of the multi-semester discipline "Interpretation of negotiations and conference", 2 modules are defined: Module 1. Interlingual communication in the official and business sphere (3 credits), which is taught in 2 semesters; Module 2. Interlingual communication in scientific and journalistic spheres (3 credits), which is taught in the 3rd semester.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.4), which makes up 40% of the total assessment, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade. Evaluation of the semester work is carried out in the following forms: oral response at the seminar class, additions, participation in the discussion, blitz survey, control work with open answers, preparation and defense of the presentation.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which includes the unsupervised work as well on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (presentation preparation). All types of work for the semester have as a result:In case of the mid-term control:- in the maximum dimension of 100 points,In case of the exam:The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final assessment (exam (minimum 24, maximum 40 points).In case of absence from the seminar session, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar.
