PRS 24. To apply the skills and abilities necessary for the translation of Korean-language texts related to various genres, styles, discourses (economic, legal, diplomatic, artistic, media and Internet), audiovisual translation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of courses: "Oriental language: intermediate level", "Lexicology of the first oriental language", "Fundamentals of translation theory", "Fundamentals of translation practice", "Fundamentals of linguistics: synchrony", "Fundamentals of linguistics: diachrony". Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics, the basics of stylistics, grammar, translation studies, the basic principles of communication ethics and the value system of Korean society. Knowledge of the Korean language at an intermediate level, knowledge of linguistic terminology.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to expand the student's lexical and grammatical skills based on the study of the peculiarities of the structure of the language texts of mass media, the Internet, advertising discourse, etc. Improvement of the professional competences of an interpreter when translating texts of the specified subject, practical development of theoretical knowledge.
