The course is interactive. It is built taking into account the courses "Introduction to Philology", "Linguo-Country Studies of Vietnam", the course of (school) Ukrainian literature and provides for "different educational levels".

The proposed program of the course "Oriental Reminiscences in Ukrainian Literature" involves work with artistic, literary, and critical material that reveals certain types of Ukrainian orientalism, shows its main vectors, genre, thematic, figurative specificity of artistic works, features of dialogicity of "own" and "other" in them, the forms of reminiscences, their functions, types of reminiscence connections: plot, compositional, genre, stylistic, form-creating, etc. The studied material shows Ukrainian literature as an open artistic system with "moving principles of artistic writing, dynamic contacts, and an open field of intercultural relations."

The course provides the following forms of organization of training: lectures and seminars conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer at the seminar lesson, abstract, individual task, test paper. Detailed planned educational activities and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 60 points, in the minimum dimension 36 points.Final assessment: an exam.
