Learning outcomes
PLO 1 Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the official and English languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 2 Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Full successful implementation of the curriculum of the appropriate educational level, both from the main block of disciplines and from the optional blocks; 2. Possessing the basic ability to create original texts of various genres and styles, as well as to carry out their literary analysis, evaluation, interpretation, commenting, translation and literary editing in accordance with the chosen specialization. 3. Ability to work with literary and artistic texts.
Course content
Purpose: formation of students' professional skills for research and production activities in museums (foundations), archives, scientific journals, libraries, publishing houses, cultural and educational centers, etc. As well as creating conditions for scientific and literary creativity of students. During practice, the student has the opportunity to actualize the acquired knowledge and skills, to reveal his research and creative potential. Practice is related to production activities at the position in the institution that is the base of the practice. The bases of practice of the selective block "Theory of Literature" are institutions that carry out scientific research activities and translate them into publishing projects. These are, in particular, educational and scientific institutions and centers of Taras Shevchenko KNU, other institutions of higher education that carry out scientific work in the fields of literary studies and art studies, scientific research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Central State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art of Ukraine, the Taras National Museum Shevchenko, National Theater Art Center named after Lesya Kurbasa, the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine, the Sixties Museum, museums of Ukrainian writers, the jury of international and all-Ukrainian creative competitions, etc.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods: consultations, independent student work. Educational activities during internship: the student performs professional work of a technical and creative-scientific nature, which he receives from the curator of the internship base within the chosen specialization at the initial stage of internship; performs an individual creative and scientific task, which is planned for independent execution or execution as part of a group, prepares materials for a report on the completion of the practice, which will be publicly presented during the defense of the practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
The form of the final assessment is a differentiated credit. The number of points for the internship is based on the grades received by the student during professional production (creative) practice. The overall assessment consists of points received for work performed at the institution (as suggested by the curator) and points for the student's written report, clarity of presentation of report materials, and public defense of them. Performing professional work of a technical nature - 1-20 points. Performance of creative and scientific professional work - 1-20 points. Completion of a scientific and creative task (independent or as part of a group project) - 1-40 points. Preparation of reporting materials - 1-10 points. Public defense of internship results - 1-10 points. The grading scale is as follows: "Excellent" – 90–100 points, "Good" – 75–89 points, "Satisfactory" – 60–74 points, "Unsatisfactory" – 0–59 points.
