Learning outcomes
PLO 12. Analyse language units, determine their interaction, and characterize linguistic phenomena and the underlying processes. PLO 14. Use English in oral and written form, in different genre and style varieties and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), for solving communicative tasks in everyday, public, educational, professional and academic spheres of life. PLO 17. Collect, analyse, systematize and interpret language and speech facts and use them to solve complex problems and tasks in specialized fields of professional activity and / or training.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering or choosing an academic discipline: 1. Successful completion of courses: Introduction to Linguistics, Lexicology and Phraseology of SYM, Phonetics of SYM, Morphology of SYM; 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics, phonetics, morphology, syntax of the modern Ukrainian language; 3. Possession of information about the basic concepts of linguistics; principles of collection, accumulation, search and processing of actual language material; methods of linguistic analysis; 4. The ability to work with information in Internet resources, to be critical of the analyzed phenomena, to use various informative sources; use interactive and multimedia tools.
Course content
The educational discipline "Psycholinguistics" is included in the disciplines of the mandatory block of the OP "Ukrainian and English languages: translation and editing". The course is aimed at forming in students a hol no no istic system of knowledge about the history, methodology and organization of psycholinguistic research. As a result of studying the discipline, students should learn the elements of research activity, principles of organization, methods and technologies of conducting psycholinguistic research, learn to conduct author's research, in particular, in terms of gathering information, working hypotheses, choosing the methodology and methods of conducting psycholinguistic analysis

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Educational activities during the semester: tasks performed in the process of independent work; answer in practical classes; creative work (associative experiment); projects, presentations.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level evaluation of the learned material, in particular, the evaluation of theoretical training - learning results, which is 40% of the total grade, and the evaluation of practical training, which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer, additions, participation in lectures and practical discussions, intermediate test: 20/40 points. 2. Individual creative work: 16/20 points.
