PRN 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PRN 22.2. To know the culturally determined factors that shape the relationship between communicators in the conditions of various communicative situations for adequate reproduction in translation from Polish and Lithuanian languages

1. To know the main periods of Polish history from ancient times to the present. 2. To be able to characterize the social, economic, political and cultural aspects of the historical development of Poland in the context of the civilizational development of Europe. 3. Possess elementary skills of source criticism, historical analysis, establishment of cause and effect relationships.

This discipline is devoted to the study of the history of Poland (from the earliest times to the beginning of the 21st century). The main periods of Polish history, the processes of formation and development of the Polish state are reflected. The course is based on highlighting the main problems of the state-political, socio-economic and cultural development of Poland in the context of the civilizational development of Europe. The goal of the discipline is to form students' systematic knowledge of the history of Poland from ancient times to the present day, taking into account the peculiarities of socio-economic, political and cultural processes that took place in Central and Eastern Europe.

Lectures, independent work

The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The student's total number of points is formed by the semester points obtained from all topics of two content modules (points obtained for modular control papers (in the form of testing); points obtained for independent work (for preparing essays). The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures and independent work of students, which are completed by a rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 includes topics 1-5, content module 2 includes topics 6-11.Assessment of student knowledge success is carried out in two forms: semester assessment (tests, essays) and final assessment (exam). The total number of points is 100 points (of which, the semester assessment is a maximum of 60 points; the final assessment (exam) is a maximum of 40 points).
