PLO 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3. To organize the process of one's education and self-education. PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folk art, determine their specificity and place in the literary process (according to the chosen specialization). PLO 15. Full-time form

Before the course of study students are expected to complete successfully the program’s previous literary disciplines; to demonstrate basic knowledge of literary terms and be competent in applying various methodologies of a literary analysis of text.The student must successfully master the following academic disciplines: "Introduction to Literary Studies", "History of Foreign Literature", "History of Polish Literature" and know: • basic literary concepts; • principles of literary text analysis; • peculiarities of literary genres; • basics of poetics; be able: • apply literary tools in practice; • analyze all levels of an artistic text – thematic, compositional, narrative, poetic. have basic skills • communication on literary topics; • analysis of the artistic text.

The subject of study is the genealogy of Polish Postmodernism (postpostmodernism). To give Polish students generalized, systematized information about the development of Polish literature at the turn of the 20th/21st centuries. of Poland, to systematize knowledge of the main historical and cultural events of the specified era, to acquaint students with the general European context of the development of Polish literature, to acquaint students with the texts and contexts of the end of the 20th century - the beginning of the 21st century, the influences of European literature, issues with the aim of highlighting literary visions of important national problems of Polish literature of the specified era; formation of skills of analysis and interpretation of artistic text. Postmodernism is studied as a philosophy that greatly influenced the picture of the world created by Polish writers. The evolution of Polish prose is considered against the background of the formation of paraliterary genres and art. The evolution of Polish drama and poetry is also traced.

The course is delivered with the help of such teaching methods as lectures, seminars, students’ individual work. Forms of tuition include oral reports and group discussions at seminars, individual tasks, PowerPoint presentations.

Semester assessment: the maximum number of points during the semester is 80 points: tasks performed in the process of independent work and a summary of lectures - max. 10 points answers in practical classes - max 30 points; Preparation and design of the essay - max 10 points; Speech on the topic of the essay - max 10 points; Final test - max 20 points. The minimum number of points per semester is 48. Final assessment in the form of credit - min 12/ max 20 points.
