Prerequisites and co-requisites
The study program is dedicated for students who have successfully finished school courses in Ukrainian, foreign language, have prior training in Spanish (successfully passed the exam provided by the SP in the 1st semester of the academic year), have not previously studied French, but have the skills of language and intercultural communication, are able to independently develop language material, have the basics of modern bibliographic culture.
Course content
The main goal of the first semester of study is to master the basic knowledge, skills and abilities in phonetics, graphics, orthography, vocabulary and grammar of the French language. The course is based on system-communicative and activity-oriented approaches and involves the acquisition of skills of correct oral speech within the everyday and civilization topics.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms and / or methods and technologies of teaching and training: practical classes, independent work. Methods and final evaluation criterion: oral answer, homework, MT, exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
The discipline consists of 3 meaningful modules. The resulting sum of points is calculated as a simple accumulation of the final points for the content modules and the credit (maximum - 100 points). The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test.
