Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the main historical figures and main events in the history of Ukraine. 2. To be able to determine the results and consequences of the most important events in the history of Ukraine. 3. Possess elementary skills of working with educational literature.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to form students a systematic idea of historical connections Ukraine with the East, the "Ukrainian policy" of the countries of the East, their mutual relations with Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of student evaluation: - semester evaluation: 1. Control work 1, (test): RN 1.1, 1.3. – 12 points/8 points*. Control work 2 (test): RN 1.2, RN 1.4 – 18 points/10 points. 2. Abstract 1: PH 2.5-2.6 – 4 points/3 points. Essay 2: PH 2.5-2.6 – 4 points/3 points. 3. Work during seminar classes 1 ZM: RN 2.1-2.4 – 24 points/14 points. Work during seminar classes 2 ZM: RN 2.1-2.4– 18 points/10 points. * The maximum score / threshold score for receiving a positive evaluation from the corresponding control form. - final assessment: - form of assessment – credit; - the maximum number of points a student can receive is 20 points.
Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points obtained from all topics of two content modules (points obtained during seminars (oral examination); points obtained for the completion of essays; points obtained during the module control (for the completion of test tasks), as well as points received during the final control (testing), namely for the performance of the proposed tasks. The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which end with a rating control of the level of mastery of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding parts of the course Content module 1 (ЗМ1) includes topics 1-6, topics 7-9 are included in content module 2 (ЗМ2).
