PLO 6. Identify, verify and summarize information about various contexts of cultural practice, determine the degree of their relevance using relevant sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies. PLO 7. To evaluate historical heritage and the latest achievements of cultural studies. PLO 10. Recognize and classify different types of ethno-cultural products, determine their quality characteristics based on comprehensive analysis. PLO 11. To carry out an expert assessment of ethno-cultural objects according to the specified criteria and to provide recommendations regarding their social actualization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting the study of this discipline, students should know the basic laws of mental functioning, leading mental processes and stages, and psychological properties of personality. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the social and psychological mechanisms of society's functioning. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding psychological, political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources.
Course content
Purpose of discipline - to provide students with a holistic understanding of the range of issues related to psychological mechanisms that accompany mass phenomena; their features according to age periodization and taking into account gender features. Annotation. The discipline "Age and gender psychology of mass events belongs to the list of selective disciplines and is taught in the eighth semester of the bachelor's degree - in accordance with the curriculum of a specific philological educational program. The educational discipline is aimed at the formation of an educated specialist, psychologically competent and morally oriented to conscientious, conscious and ethically balanced performance of professional activity. Special attention is paid to the formation of abilities and skills of practical use of the acquired knowledge, the ability to independently analyze complex socio-psychological phenomena and processes occurring in society.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course includes 2 content parts. The first part of the course - "Age and gender characteristics of the individual", the second part of the course - "Social and psychological regularities of mass phenomena". Forms of education: lectures, seminars, scientific seminar, independent work. Throughout the semester, after the lectures on the relevant topics, seminar classes are held, which are evaluated according to the types of work (oral answer, supplement, report at a scientific seminar, blitz survey, participation in discussions at lectures and seminar classes, intermediate control test, exam). A scientific seminar is held no later than the last lecture week, at which students present an independently prepared scientific report on one of the topical problems of modern folkloristics.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral presentations, additions and participation in discussions at lectures and seminars) and for independent works (essays). All types of work for the semester have as a result: - in the max dimension of 80 points, - a min of 48 points. In case of absence from the seminar, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar in writing. Final test in written form: 12/20 points. Final evaluation in the form of credit: The final number of points for the discipline (max 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester.
