Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know basic information about mental phenomena involved in the creative process.
To be able to carry out a comparative analysis of theories, research approaches and concepts regarding the socio-psychological essence of creativity.
Have basic skills of working with literary sources and creating presentations; skills of scientific research, search, processing and analysis of information, use of information and communication technologies.
Course content
The course reveals basic concepts, theories, types and levels of creativity as a process and result, factors complicating the creative process, techniques for stimulating the creative activity of an individual. Particular attention is paid to the problem of the psychological experience of the ethnic group and the means of embodying the ethnic world and the ethnic person in art and literature, as well as the specifics of creative imagination, fantasy, and humor related to the national tradition.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course includes 2 meaningful parts. The first part of the course is devoted to the psychology of creativity, where the main concepts, theories, types and levels of creativity as a process and result, factors complicating the creative process, and techniques for stimulating the creative activity of an individual are revealed. The second part of the course is devoted to the psychology of art - the subject, tasks, methods, main problems of the psychology of art, the personality of the artist and the group as subjects of artistic activity, the psychology of mass art, the phenomenon of "mascult" in the socio-historical context of civilization, the phenomena and effects of the influence of works are considered art on society, psychology of film art.
Classes are held in the form of lectures, seminars, and creative works. The discipline ends with a test.
During the semester, thematic control tests with open and closed questions are conducted.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions), analytical report, creative independent work.
The form of final control is credit. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is equal to 100) and does not include additional assessment measures for successful students.
Students who, during the semester, scored a total of less than 60 points, but more than the critical calculation minimum - 40 points, pass the credit. Assessment is carried out in the form of an oral survey on the subject of the course and a presentation of a working project, which are estimated at 20 points.
Students who, during the semester, scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 40 points are not allowed to pass the test.
Assessment is carried out throughout the semester of all types of work.
