PLO 2. Analyze, comment, generalize, scientific and analytical texts of an ethnocultural nature.
PLO 6. Identify, verify and summarize information about various contexts of cultural practice, determine the degree of their relevance using relevant sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies.
PLO 7. To understand the factors of ethnocultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of ethnocultural processes, their specific features and characteristics.
PLO 10. Recognize and classify different types of ethno-cultural products, determine their quality characteristics based on comprehensive analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of courses: "Ukrainian ritual culture", "Material culture of Ukrainians", "Ukrainian verbal culture", "Ethnopsychology".
Knowledge of theoretical foundations of Ukrainian traditional culture, traditional folk education, folk didactics.
Possession of the methodology of scientific research, search and processing of educational and scientific information; use of professional informative sources; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; work with folklore texts, educational and didactic direction; study of ethnocultural elements intended for child care.
Ability to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, process it, make generalizations and conclusions; collect and analyze information on traditional childhood culture; evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.
Course content
Purpose of discipline – to form in the students of education a system of knowledge about the traditional culture of Ukrainian childhood, the traditions of folk education as one of the central phenomena of ethnoculture, which appeared and developed on the best achievements of Ukrainian folk creativity
Annotation. The educational discipline "Traditional culture of childhood" belongs to the list of mandatory subjects, taught in the sixth semester of the bachelor's degree - in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional program "Ethnocultural studies with in-depth study of a foreign language". The structure of the training course involves consideration of the theoretical foundations, main objects and basic means of traditional child care and upbringing. Mastering the volume of issues considered in the training course gives students the opportunity to form an idea of all ritual complexes and the system of traditional education as components of the folk culture of childhood.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final assessment (exam). Admission to the exam requires the student to successfully complete assignments and work throughout the semester.
Therefore, the final grade for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester work (minimum 36, maximum 60 points) and the final assessment - the exam (minimum 24, maximum 40 points).
