PLO. 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, arrange, classify and systematize it.

Prerequisites and additional requirements
Successful completion of courses: "Ukrainian Folklore", "Ethnography of Ukraine".
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of traditional folk education, folk didactics, Ukrainian folk creativity.
Possession of the methodology of scientific research, search and processing of educational and scientific information; use of professional informative sources; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; works with folklore texts of educational and didactic direction.
Ability to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, process it, make generalizations and conclusions; collect and analyze information on the tradition of folk education, folk didactics; evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.
Course content
Purpose of discipline – To form among the students of education a system of knowledge about the traditions of national education of Ukrainians, its ideas, methods, means that appeared and developed on the best achievements of Ukrainian national creativity.
Annotation. The educational discipline "Traditional Folk Education: Folklore Aspect" belongs to the list of mandatory disciplines, taught in the sixth semester of the bachelor's degree - in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional program "Folklore, Ukrainian Language and Literature and Foreign Language". The structure of the course provides for consideration of the theoretical foundations, main objects and main means of Ukrainian national education. Mastering the volume of issues considered in the course gives students the opportunity not only to form an idea of the main problems of this field of scientific knowledge, but also to acquire the skills of public education

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out in accordance with the types of work and the form of the examination, described in clause 7.1. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "enrolled". Students who did not score the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "not enrolled". Students who scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose, in the form of writing independent papers, essays, or, if necessary, write a control paper.
