Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian, German and English, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 10. Know the rules of standard language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, German and English. PLO 14. Use German and English in oral and written form, in different genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PLO 20. Apply knowledge of regional studies of German-speaking and English-speaking countries for successful communication and adequate translation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The requirements for this course include proficiency in German at level B1 and completion of courses in phonetics, grammar, and lexicology of the German language.
Course content
The course "German Language in Intercultural Communication" for fourth-year students is an integrated course that comprehensively develops competencies and language skills. The central focus is on the sociocultural aspect of intercultural communication, particularly within educational topics dedicated to German-speaking countries.

Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment methods for this course include frontal questioning, presentations, extracurricular reading and analysis of works, creative writing assignments, and tests. The final assessment will be conducted through an exam, and specific criteria for evaluation are outlined in the course program.
