Learning outcomes
PLO 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in state and foreign languages (Persian and English) orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 2. To work effectively with data: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3. To organize the process of one's education and self-education. PLO 5. To cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PLO 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process in Europe and Ukraine. To be able to identify and analyze cultural processes that determine the evolutionary nature of changes in the stages of development of European and Ukrainian culture. To possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding cultural events and phenomena.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide the philosophical and cultural component of training a highly qualified, competitive specialist of "Bachelor" degree integrated into the European and global scientific and educational space and provided with theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to perform professional duties in the chosen field specialty.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Education takes place in the form of lectures, seminar classes and independent work of students, which involves preparation for oral answers, participation in discussions (min. 24 / max. 40 points), creative work (min. 12 / max. 20 points), self-study research (min. 12 / max. 20 points), final test (min. 12 / max. 20 points).
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment in the credit form is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assesed learning outcomes. To receive a positive final grade (min. 60 points / max. 100 points), it is mandatory to successfully complete all forms of assessment (at least 50% of the maximum possible number of points for each). It is not allowed to retake the semester control in order to improve a positive grade.
