PRN 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PRN 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PRN 9. Characterize the dialectal and social varieties of the Persian language, describe the sociolinguistic situation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the disciplines "Persian language: intermediate level", "Fundamentals of Persian translation theory", "Fundamentals of Persian translation practice"; Knowledge of the main theoretical provisions, specifics and problems of translation studies as a science; mastery of the vocabulary and knowledge of the grammar of the Persian language in the amount of five semesters of the bachelor's program; the ability to apply translation transformations in practice.
Course content
The purpose of the educational discipline is to develop the skills and abilities of translation activities for the implementation of written and oral two-way translation of texts of artistic and colloquial and everyday styles, as well as texts of popular science and scientific and educational sub-styles of online resources.

final assessment: exam. Final assessment in the form of an exam: maximum number of points on the exam – 40 points; the minimum number of points (positive grade), which are added to the semester ones, is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allotted for the exam); 7 the following learning outcomes are evaluated in the exam: RN 1.1-1.4; 2.1-2.4; the exam is conducted in written and oral form, the exam ticket consists of three parts: 1) written translation of an unfamiliar text from Persian to Ukrainian (15 points); 2) written translation of an unfamiliar text from Ukrainian into Persian (15 points); 3) reading and oral translation of an unfamiliar text from Persian to Ukrainian (10 points); students who scored a total number of points less than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points are not allowed to take the exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points in the semester is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire academic semester. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on the development of theoretical material for classroom preparation) and for independent work (written assignments, test assignments, preparation for oral answers, modular test papers, exam). All types of work for the semester have a total of: - in the maximum dimension - 60 points, - in the minimum dimension - 36 points. In case of absence from the practical session, the student must complete the assignment. The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final assessment (exam).
