Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian and
English languages, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication.
PLO 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, critically analyze, interpret, arrange, classify and systematize the information.
PLO 21.2. Apply the third foreign language (French) in practice of communicating in the everyday sphere.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Master language and intercultural communication skills, know historical and cultural realities; know the basics of the comparative method; be able to work with didactic and audio-visual materials; process independently language material; have the basics of modern bibliographic culture.
Course content
The purpose of the course is the acquisition by students of the appropriate level of knowledge of the French language along with Modern Greek and English through understanding the relationships between grammatical structures, phonetic-phonological, lexical and phraseological and stylistic potentials of the French language, Modern Greek and English, as well as in the formation of the ability to determine lexical-grammatical features linguistic units in the language system, understanding and explanation of lingual and extralingual phenomena of the French language.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of study consist of practical trainings and students’ self-study. Teaching methods include answers at the practical classes, lexical and grammatical tests, extra answer / participation in the discussion, self-study work (essay, written translations,), test papers.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire course. The general assessment for the semester consists of points obtained for classroom work and for independent work (home translations, works). The maximum student can score 100 points, the minimum - 60. The final grade is conducted in the form of a credit: the credit is based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional evaluation measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive "passed". Students who did not score the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive "failed".
