Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Applies modern information technologies and methods of their use in scientific research, translation from two foreign languages.
PLO 2. Understands the basic prerequisites and principles of a philologist's work in the professional field.
PLO 7. Demonstrates an adequate level of proficiency in the state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication in situations of professional and scientific communication, in particular, for the organization of intercultural communication.
PLO 8. Can work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize.
PLO 15. Has the ability to adapt to new situations and conditions of the educational process, to make decisions in situations of the educational process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful completion of the compulsory integrated disciplines "Theoretical and Practical Course of the New Greek Language", "Practice of Translation from the New Greek Language", as well as translation studies disciplines of the specialization "Translation and a Third Language"; 2) knowledge of genre and stylistic features of translation of texts of different styles and discourses; 3) proficiency in the New Greek language at the level of B2 competence.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to test the formation of practical skills and abilities acquired during the training and to carry out written or oral intercultural communication, depending on the tasks set by the practice site, to gain experience in the implementation of knowledge and skills in the real production process. The discipline consists of an introductory stage, when students get acquainted with the practice site, conditions and tasks at the introductory meeting; if possible, they visit the practice site itself, where they receive a brief briefing and are assigned to individual employees or departments, get acquainted with sample texts and reference literature. At the second stage, students complete a draft translation and receive critical feedback from their supervisor. At the final stage (week 4), the interns complete the reporting documentation: final translation and interpretation, solving the assigned tasks, and handing in a report.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester grade is formed from the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire course. The total grade for the semester consists of the points obtained for the four stages of translation practice and is calculated as follows: (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) - the sum of the points for the semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the defense (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
