PTR 5. To collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc. PTR 10. To know the norms of the Ukrainian literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities PTR 14. To use Ukrainian in verbal and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PTR 17. To collect, analyze, systematize and interpret the facts of language and speech and use them for adequate translation (from Ukrainian into the native language and vice versa) of oral and written texts of different styles and genres. PTR 26. To identify and analyze the national and cultural specifics of verbal and non-verbal communication in Ukrainian.

Successful mastery of the disciplines "Modern Ukrainian Language. Lexicology", "Practical Course of the Ukrainian Language" (1st-6th semesters) in the specialty "Ukrainian Language and Translation" in the bachelor's degree; choice of specialization "Ukrainian Language in the Linguistic and Cultural Aspect".

"Lexical Compatibility of Words as a Translation and Linguistic and Stylistic Problem" is part of the block of disciplines in the specialization "Ukrainian Language in the Linguistic and Cultural Aspect", a professional discipline for students majoring in "Ukrainian Language and Translation (for Foreigners)". Its subject is stable word combinations (synlexes) and distributional and semantic fields of the modern Ukrainian literary language. The discipline aims at mastering the lexical compatibility of words in the most communicatively important lexical and thematic fields and groups, as well as the components of stable phrases; understanding the relationship between lexical and syntactic compatibility (verb control paradigms, etc.). Translation studies and semantic and stylistic problems of lexical compatibility are emphasized.
