PTR 13. Analyse and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction, determine their specificity and place in the literary process.

Distance form

Proficiency in the Ukrainian language at a level that allows you to listen to lectures and participate in discussions; ability to read and analyze literary works.

The course aims to form students' understanding of the literary process of antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance; the New and Modern history of the literatures of Western Europe and America from the late sixteenth to the late twentieth century; to promote the acquisition of a set of concepts related to the history of foreign literature of these periods (main trends, genres, styles, ideological and artistic concepts).

Educational activities: Lecture, seminar class. Methods: informative and informative method, problem statement method. Interactive and communicative methods (surveys, testing, educational discussions). Search and partial search methods.
