Learning outcomes
PLO 3. To know and understand the principles, forms, modern methods, methodological techniques of teaching the subject in general secondary education institutions (level of basic secondary education). PLO 22. To know, understand and demonstrate the ability to implement the theoretical and methodological foundations of teaching Turkish language and literature and English in basic secondary school PLO 24. Able to navigate in the information space, search and critically evaluate information, operate with it in professional activities PLO 25. Able to plan the educational process and predict its results. PLO 28.2. Able to apply knowledge of the preparation of textbooks in the Turkish language.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of teaching Turkish grammar in secondary school. 2. To be able to formulate the concept of compiling textbooks of various formats, to carry out thematic analysis and select text blocks, blocks of exercises on the principle of gradual complication of grammar and lexical material; to formulate questions to texts in accordance with the professional orientation of speech; to plan and evaluate their own research activities, to use interactive and multimedia tools. 3. Possess basic skills of scientific research, working with large amounts of information, critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of Turkish-language professional information sources; compilation of manuals and industry dictionaries; use of basic and professionally specialized knowledge of the basics of philology, history, economics, sociology and cultural studies in cognitive and professional activities.
Course content
The program of the discipline consists of 4 content modules. The basic concepts of educational and methodical literature, types, structure of each type, requirements for the design of each link of the structure, features of the formation of a particular type, practical methods of compiling educational and methodical publications (EMP) are studied. The discipline consists of six content parts that combine the theoretical basis for the preparation of TMI (work on the requirements and features of preparing textbooks), practical recommendations for the preparation of TMI (work on the formation of competence in compiling exercises for TMI in Turkish, instructions) and independent work (improving practical skills in compiling various formats of Turkish textbooks). Classes are held in the form of lectures and practical classes. Each content part involves a research workshop, the purpose of which is to consolidate students' research skills in the process of solving practical problems (modeling a textbook project). The course ends with an exam, and students are expected to write a course project on the subject. The course includes 1 credit of the practical part in the form of preparation of the first unit of the textbook for Turkish language lessons.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in seminars: 12 - 24 points. 2. Report-analysis of the topics covered, creative tasks, presentation: 8 - 16 points. 3. Module test №1: 8 - 10 points. 4. Module test # 2: 8 - 10 points. 5. Exam: 12 - 20 points. 6. Defense of the course work: 12 - 20 points.
