Learning outcomes
PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of Turkish and English languages and literatures and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities.
PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process (according to the chosen specialization).
PLO 15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.
PLO 20.1. Possess the necessary knowledge and skills to translate literary texts of various genres, organize the process of literary translation personally and in a team.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the specifics of the literature of the Turkish sofa and its representatives (successful completion of the course "Literature of the Sofa" in the IV semester)
2. Know the methods and techniques of translation, lexical, grammatical, syntactic and stylistic problems of translation (successful completion of the comprehensive course "Translation Practice (Turkish)" Part 1 "Fundamentals of Translation Practice").
3. Be able to organize the translation process, use dictionaries, Internet resources (successful completion of the integrated discipline "Translation Practice (Turkish)" Part 2 "Translation Practice").
4. Possess teamwork skills.
5. Realize the need for continuous professional development.
Course content
The course "Literature of the Divan: Translation Aspect" is included in the list of elective courses in the Literary Studies and Translation program and is taught in the seventh semester of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the curriculum of the Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English program. The course is an integral part of the development of professional and practical competencies of future translators. This course builds on the foundations laid by other disciplines (Divan Literature, Translation Practice, Fundamentals of Translation Theory) and aims to deepen knowledge of the specifics of translation activities in the field of literary (poetic) translation of works of Turkish Divan literature. In order to develop the relevant skills, the classes are held as close as possible to real translation tasks that students may encounter in their future professional activities. The discipline is taught in the form of practical classes during one semester and ends with a test.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 30% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 70% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Answers in the practical class: 10 - 30 points.
2. Translation/interpretation: 10 - 20 points.
3. Creative translation task: 10 - 12 points.
4. Module test: 16 - 18 points.
5. Final module test: 14 - 20 points.
