Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic principles of psychology and methods of teaching foreign languages.
2. To be able to analyze foreign and domestic technologies (methods, techniques and means) for the formation of philological competence in students of secondary schools.
3. Possess the skills of independent analysis and search for information on the effective use of modern concepts of teaching foreign languages, the ability to characterize their essence and principles.
Course content
The discipline "Linguodidactic Foundations of Teaching Turkish in Secondary School" is included in the list of elective disciplines of the Linguistics and Translation program and is taught in the fifth semester of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the curriculum of the Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English program.
The discipline is theoretical and practical in nature and contributes to the practical development of future Turkish language teachers' experience necessary for their future professional activities. The content of this discipline, firstly, provides future specialists with knowledge about the strategic directions of development of modern school foreign language education, modern methods and technologies of teaching foreign languages, secondly, encourages higher education students to be creative in the process of theoretical and practical study, and thirdly, makes it possible to expand the field of activity of future Turkish language teachers by applying the acquired knowledge and skills.
Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars in Ukrainian. The course is taught for one semester and ends with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 50% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 50% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Answers at seminars: 15 - 25 points.
2. Blitz survey: 6 - 10 points.
3. Report: 3 - 10 points.
4. Modular control work: 12 - 20 points.
5. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
