PLO 4. Understand the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, and society. PLO 18. To have the skills to manage complex actions or projects in solving complex problems in professional activities in the field of the chosen philological specialization and to be responsible for decision-making in unpredictable conditions. PLO 20.1. Know the theoretical and practical methodology of organizing the translation process, be able to perform pre-translation analysis of texts of different styles and genres, perform consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, and know the basics of translator's cursive. PLO 21.1. Know the principles of editing translated texts into Ukrainian. PLO 22.1. To use Turkish and English for effective intercultural communication, to have a high level of communication skills in academic and business discourse in Turkish and English.

Full-time form

1. Successful mastery of professional disciplines during previous courses. 2. Knowledge of the laws of phonetics and morphology, grammatical structures and syntax rules of the Turkish language. 3. Possession of oral and written translation skills.

The academic discipline "Turkish-Ukrainian Translation in Diplomacy and International Relations" is one of the components of comprehensive training in the specialty 035.06 - Philology "Oriental Languages and Literatures (Translation inclusive)", programs Turkish Language and Literature, Western European Language and Translation. This discipline is a logical continuation of the specialized subjects that are part of the cycle of training for students of Turkish Studies in the Bachelor's degree program. During the course, students learn how to translate and interpret texts of diplomacy and international relations. The course involves the study of the main types of documents in the field of diplomacy and international relations, training of translation skills and abilities with an emphasis on international relations, which would ensure the correct choice of translation strategy. The course "Turkish-Ukrainian Translation in Diplomacy and International Relations" is an elective component of the educational and scientific program "Oriental Philology, Western European Language and Translation: Turkish Language and Literature"; level of education: first (VIIІ semester; 90 hours in total, including 44 hours of practical classes, 46 hours of independent work). Classes are held in the form of practical classes. The course ends with an exam.

Practical classes; independent work.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills); (communication); (autonomy and responsibility), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: Module I: 1. Work in practical classes (oral response, reports): 3 - 5 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 9 - 15 points. 3. Modular control work: 6 - 10 points. Module II: 1. Work in practical classes (oral answer, reports): 3 - 5 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 6 - 10 points. 3. Modular control work: 9 - 15 points. 4. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
