Learning outcomes
РLO 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it.
PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of Turkish and English languages and literatures and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities.
PLO 12. Analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them.
PLO 15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.
PLO 16. To know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of the chosen philological specialization, to be able to apply them in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the grammatical structure of the Turkish language, basic terms in the field of linguistics in Turkish, the stages of development of the Turkish language and the history of the study of the first written monuments.
2. Be able to analyze grammatical structures in the Turkish language.
3. Possess the skills of independent analysis of the syntax of the Turkish language, search for specialized information, the ability to characterize the essence and principles of formation of complex syntax and grammatical structures.
Course content
The discipline "Turkish Syntax and Punctuation" is included in the list of elective disciplines of the Linguistics and Translation Program and is taught in the third semester of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the curriculum of the Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English program. The course is an integral part of the formation of the professional competence of future specialists in the field of Turkish philology. This course builds on the foundation laid by other disciplines (Turkish: Advanced Level, Theoretical Grammar of Turkish, History of Turkish), its purpose is to deepen knowledge of the structure of micro- and macrosyntactic constructions and the specifics of punctuation in the modern Turkish language.
The course is taught in the form of lectures and practical classes in Ukrainian and Turkish. The course is taught for one semester and ends with a final test.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 50% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills); (communication); (autonomy and responsibility), which accounts for 50% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Control work: 9 -15 points.
2. Presentation: 12 - 20 points.
3. Performing an individual task on parsing: 12 - 20 points.
4. Oral survey: 9 - 15 points.
5. Analysis of an article in Turkish on the theory of syntax (in Turkish or English): 6 - 10 points.
6. The final test: 12 - 20 points.
7. Test: 12 - 20 points.
